Benefits for Work at Home Jobs
The work at home job will give you a steady income and usually you can fit your schedule around your work. Most companies who hire people to work at home really do not care what hours you work just get the work done according to their time schedule. Some work at home jobs will pay you piece work and this can increase your income. You do not have to commute back and forth everyday to a job site. You do not have to deal with the petty back stabbing that occurs at the work place. Drawbacks for Work at Home Jobs
One drawback for a work at home job is that you usually are limited to how much money you can earn. Most work at home jobs offer no medical insurance benefits, holiday or vacation pay. There are work at home jobs that may only last for the amount of time it takes you to finish the project they assigned to you. They might not mention this up front so make sure you can get some kind of a legal agreement or contract. Some work at home jobs require a fee to start working with them.
Benefits for Work at Home Business
Depending on what kind of work at home business you decide to build it can generate unlimited residual income for you. The hours you work are completely controlled by you. Like a work at home job you do not have to commute and when you do if you plan ahead you might be able to deduct some of your travel expenses. This is only one of the many tax benefits a work at home business offers. Consult with your accountant for others. You have no boss and you do not have to deal with back stabbing employees. You have no deadlines to meet. You can even work at home and be at the beach. You can build your work at home business part time and still keep your job. This will keep your cash flow from drying up while you build your work at home business into being profitable.
Drawbacks for Work at Home Business
One drawback for a work at home business is that your income depends on you. This means if you get lazy you may see little or no income. Like some work at home jobs you do not have medical insurance benefits, holiday or vacation pay. You will have up front expenses like setting up a separate checking account requiring a business license and possibly have to purchase some inventory. You will have to be the toughest boss you have ever had. Your mental toughness will be challenge.
These are just a few comparisons between a work at home job and a work at home business for you to consider as you decide which is going to be best for you.
From my experience over the past 15 years a work at home job or a job can not hold a candle to the rewards of a work at home business.
