I believe that often times, online marketers seem to lose an important aspect of their marketing. Going about, searching for this and that may have some value, but sticking with specific goals and creatively expressing yourself by writing seem to be just the ticket for the Google spiderbot.
I find that most so-called gurus, usually turn out to be someone out for the mighty dollar. Their approach on the net is an advertising format, with very little creative writing involved. They tell you how much money they make, and how they are developing just the secret program that will lead to success in a home based business. Usually, there is a price tag found at the end of the pipe dream. Initially, when the program is purchased, there is eager anticipation in hopes that these guys will help me in making a million dollars online. Folks, take it from someone who knows the drill of marketing online. There are no such programs, and no such people.
People that find success usually work hard, write good content, and possess a never die attitude. It takes years to build a successful business, whether online or offline. There are no shortcuts, and your path to success simply cannot be purchased. You must earn your keep on Google.
I find that creatively promoting myself and my services on a daily basis, is absolutely the best way to approach this process of marketing. I spend very little time and energy in trying to find out what others are doing, and simply go about my happy little way in doing what I know how to do. People find the information that I produce, or they do not. People signup for different services, or they do not. Its quite irrelevant to me either way as I know for a fact that somewhere, someday, people will fall naturally and easily into my world.
Keeping clear of all the clutter of the Internet is an easy task to accomplish. Seeking knowledge is a double edged sword. Often times, people will spend more time researching, planning, contriving and trying to make money, than they will just quietly sitting and visualizing their goal, and then putting that goal into motion. If you think about it, an article a day yields 365 articles per year. Somewhere, if you have done a good job of writing, that information will fall into the person's hands who likes what you have to say, and be willing to give you a call for more information.
